New Premier’s Cabinet Approved
Thailand’s constitutional monarch, King Bhumibol Adulyadej, accepted the Cabinet appointments of new Prime Minister Chuan Leekpai. The government is to be sworn in today and will begin efforts to rescue the country’s deeply troubled economy.
