Golf Tournament to Provide Aid to Abuse Victims
DOVE CANYON —
The Nicole Brown Simpson Foundation, continuing efforts to aid and shelter domestic violence victims, will host a celebrity golf tournament today at the Dove Canyon Country Club.
Participants include attorney Christopher Darden, a prosecutor in the O.J. Simpson murder trial, actor Bill Fagerbakke from the TV show “Coach,” M. Emmett Walsh from the film “My Best Friend’s Wedding,” singer Meat Loaf and the Laker Girls.
Proceeds will assist abuse victims and educational programs.
Play is $225 a person. There still were openings on the schedule Friday. Admission is free for spectators.
Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. and tee off is at 10:30 a.m. The course is at 22682 Golf Club Drive.
