Bikers Dream Inc.: The Santa Ana manufacturer and distributor of heavyweight cruiser motorcycles said it lost $858,058, or 8 cents a share, for the third quarter, which included a one-time charge of $150,000 related to the termination of an arrangement with a contract manufacturer. That compares with a net loss of $946,000, or 14 cents a share, for the 1996 third quarter.

Revenue increased to $4.5 million from $1.8 million. The company attributed the revenue gain to the acquisition of motorcycle manufacturing in the first quarter and the opening of the San Diego store.

The company posted a nine-month net loss of $3.1 million, or 33 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $2.6 million, or 41 cents a share. Revenue was up 63% to $12.2 million from $7.5 million.
