Geriatrics Training
Your editorial of Sept. 25, “Crash Course for Doctors in Treating the Elderly,” was one with which I concur. As a psychologist, however, I cannot help but note that both you and Blue Cross Blue Shield have succeeded again in separating the mind and the body, even after all the research and articles that indicate to the contrary.
My suggestion is that it is extremely important for psychologists, as mental health providers and advocates, to also be included in this crash course.
