An outstanding Zinfandel from Fred Scherrer, who is also the winemaker for Sonoma’s highly regarded Dehlinger Winery. Part of the vineyard was planted in 1912 by Scherrer’s grandfather; the rest of the vines date from 1975. His lush and concentrated 1995 Zinfandel is bright with fruit and so delicious that the bottle seems to be finished before you are.
