Santa Fe Pacific Pipeline Partners, L.P.: The Orange independent refined petroleum products pipeline reported third-quarter net income of $20.9 million, or $1.06 a unit. For the like period last year, net income totaled $11.6 million, or 58 cents a unit, including an $8-million charge related to a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission proceeding on rates. Revenue rose 1%, to $63.2 million from $62.3 million.

For the nine-month period, net income was $51.7 million, or $2.61 a unit, which included charges of $6 million in the first quarter related to the settlement of civil litigation. That compares with net income of $46.9 million, or $2.37 a share, for the first nine months of the prior year. Revenue increased 2%, to $182.6 million from $179.7 million.
