Roger P. Moore II, vice president of product development and engineering for Interlink Electronics in Camarillo, has been given the additional title of officer by the board of directors.

In a related expansion of the product development department, Moore has named Michael R. Clark, formerly with Apple Computer, to the new position of director of engineering.

“Roger Moore brings a combination of engineering background, market vision, entrepreneurial drive and management experience to Interlink as vice president of product development and engineering,” said E. Michael Thoben III, chairman, CEO and president. “His contribution is significant at a time when Interlink’s products grow more complex, our customer portfolio is increasing and our development time lines shrink.”

During his career, Clark has been involved in the development of numerous keyboards, pointing devices and other advanced input equipment, Thoben said.

Moore joined Interlink in July. He previously served as president of two privately held software companies concerned with Internet communications and advertising.

Clark joined Interlink Sept. 23. He authored or co-authored eight Apple Computer patents.

Interlink Electronics develops and manufactures computer pointing devices and technologies.
