Council Candidates to Take Part in Forum
Candidates for three City Council seats will meet in a forum Thursday to discuss the issues and answer questions from residents before the Nov. 4 election.
The forum, to begin at 7:30 p.m. at Sumac Elementary School, 6050 Calmfield Ave., is sponsored by the Fountainwood Homeowners Assn. and the League of Women Voters of Los Angeles.
Council candidates expected to participate are Jerry Wolf, Jeffrey M. Reinhardt, Michael E. Forney, as well as incumbents Denis Weber and Ed Corridori.
The forum will be taped and shown on Channel 8 in most areas on the TCI cable system at 3 p.m. Oct. 22 and 29 and 5 p.m. Oct. 22 and Nov. 2.
