Companies Sought for Business Expo

The Los Alamitos Area Chamber of Commerce is increasing its membership and activities this year, with the latest event, a Business Expo, scheduled for Oct. 30.

The expo will feature a Halloween theme and an opportunity for businesses to set up displays, said Connie Pedenko, president and CEO of the chamber.

Most of the Los Alamitos Chamber membership is in Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Seal Beach and parts of Long Beach. Businesses from outside Los Alamitos can participate, Pedenko said.

Pedenko said the chamber will offer about 10 events this year, a few more than last year.

The expo will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel, 5865 Katella Ave. Admission is free. Information: (562) 598-6659.
