Texas’ $14-billion Medicaid lawsuit against the tobacco industry was postponed because the judge has been found to have prostate cancer and requires surgery, officials said. U.S. District Judge David Folsom told attorneys from both sides he needed to delay the trial, which had been scheduled to start Oct. 27.
