Lisbon Subway Fire Kills 2

LISBON —
Two people were killed when fire swept through a tunnel of the subway system here early Sunday, paralyzing the network, firefighters said.
Seventy firefighters brought the blaze under control despite being hampered by strong winds.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known, but a Fire Department spokesman said it could have been due to an electrical failure after gales and rain lashed Lisbon on Saturday.
