5 Named to Hospital Foundation Board
Leisure World resident Joe Carneval has contributed many hours as a volunteer visiting terminally ill patients in their homes as part of Saddleback Memorial’s hospice program.
And he has helped raise money for the program.
Now he will be helping in yet another way, as one of five new board members for the Saddleback Memorial Foundation.
The foundation, formed in 1979, is the fund-raising arm of Saddleback Memorial Medical Center. The money is used to establish programs, facilities and equipment for the 220-bed hospital. Last year, the foundation raised $14 million.
Other new board members are Dr. David Lagrew Jr. of Trabuco Canyon, Edward Lorette of Lake Forest, Helen Lyon of Leisure World and Dr. Marc Winter of Laguna Hills.
