Kevorkian Assisted in Suicide, Attorney Says

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Jack Kevorkian assisted in the suicide Wednesday of a Pennsylvania woman with ovarian cancer at a motel here, his lawyer said.
Attorney Geoffrey Fieger said Carol Fox was in her 50s and suffering “tremendous pain.”
Fieger said Fox’s family had accompanied her to Michigan and had already returned to Pennsylvania.
