12 Killed, 31 Hurt in Train-Truck Crash

A train burst into flames after crashing into a truck filled with gasoline, killing at least 12 people and injuring 31 others, eight of them seriously, police said. The collision occurred as the truck was crossing train tracks in the Perigord region about 330 miles southwest of Paris. At least one of the train cars and the engine were destroyed, police said.
