Digital Insight Acquires Bank Web Site Developer

Digital Insight of Camarillo, an Internet home banking service, has acquired RJE Internet Services, a Web site developer for banks and financial institutions.

The acquisition will transfer RJE’s more than 50 U.S. bank Web sites to Digital Insight’s management by the middle of this month. All the Web sites meet the qualifications of the Independent Bankers Assn. of America, Digital Insight officials said.

“The company is strongly dedicated to increasing our visibility as a viable partner for financial institutions worldwide,” said Katherine Zwers, vice president of operations at Digital Insight. “Premier companies like RJE only continue to pave our road into the banking community.”

Digital Insight develops real-time, Internet-based transaction services for financial institutions. The company developed AXIS, a Web-based home banking system.

The company provides home-banking services for more than 80 financial institutions and offers Web site creation, maintenance and server hosting facilities for more than 150 financial institutions throughout the country.
