Two-Year Treasury Yields at 10-Month Low

Yields on two-year Treasury notes fell in auction to the lowest level in 10 months. The high yield was 5.79%, down from 6.00% at the last auction, on Aug. 26. It was the lowest rate since two-year notes sold for 5.66% on Nov. 19. The notes will carry a coupon interest rate of 5.75%, with each $10,000 in face value selling for $9,991.80. A total of $17.4 billion in notes were sold out of bids totaling $39.8 billion.
