Newriders Inc.: The Newport Beach operator of Easyriders Cafe motorcycle theme restaurants in Fresno and Myrtle Beach, S.C., reported a net loss of $4.8 million, or 29 cents a share, for the year, compared with a loss of $1 million, or 7 cents a share, the previous year. Sales rose to $2.9 million from $1.2 million, reflecting the opening of the company’s second Easyriders Cafe in May 1997. Fourth-quarter results were not released.
