Re “Trade Trips Were Used to Raise Funds, Brown Friend Says,” March 24: The possible involvement by the White House (influencing Commerce Secretary Ron Brown’s choice of CEOs on trade missions in return for donations to the Clinton-Gore campaign) is just another chunk added to the large iceberg of untruth and dishonesty that lurks close beneath the surface of the “sex scandal lies.” That large iceberg is the campaign finance scandal, which is extensive and could even involve governments of those countries that are not our friends. This is the real scandal in this administration.
