Cardiac Science Reports Loss

Cardiac Science Inc., a medical products manufacturer, said it lost $1 million, or 21 cents a share, for the fourth quarter, compared with a net loss of $209,327, or 6 cents a share, a year ago.

Revenue for fourth quarter totaled $424,023 last year. No revenue was reported for the 1996 fourth quarter or year.

The net loss for the year was $1.8 million, or 47 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $791,945, or 23 cents a share, for the previous year. Revenue was $1.2 million last year.
