Merrill Backs Plan fo Finance Academy
Educators recently met with representatives of Merrill Lynch & Co. to discuss creating an Academy of Finance at a local school.
Merrill Lynch has donated $20,000 to begin the project in the Santa Ana Unified School District.
Officials have yet to decide, but they are considering starting the academy at Valley High School. Valley already has an international business program that district officials feel may complement the finance academy.
