Kasey Cisyk; Singer for TV Commercials, Film

Kasey Cisyk, 44, whose opera-trained voice was heard by more than 20 billion people touting such products as automobiles, airlines, hamburgers and soft drinks. Cisyk dubbed the Academy Award-winning title song in the 1977 film “You Light Up My Life.” But her voice was better known for jingles such as “Have you driven a Ford lately?” She also sang commercials for ABC, NBC, CBS, Burger King, McDonald’s, American and Delta airlines, Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola. A daughter of Ukrainian immigrants, Cisyk recorded two successful CDs of Ukrainian folk songs, titled “Kvita” and “Kvita Two Colors.” On March 29 in New York of breast cancer.
