You Call These Models Fashionable?

Re “Getting Comfy” (April 2): I was reading the paper at 5:30 a.m.--sleepy, hair wild, eyes a bit dazed and flat, wearing my big old robe. Lo and behold! I went to the Life & Style section, and on the cover are models who look just like me when I wake up--eyes dead, dazed, hair wild, and wearing clothes I would clean the house in.

Who the **** is responsible for making women be their ugliest? Do these people actually like women and / or themselves? I’ve had it with what the fashion mavens dictate is the be-all and end-all of good fashion and style.
