About 2,000 people participate in the city’s Neighborhood Watch program, Pinho said. Most of the city’s crimes occur along major thoroughfares such as Santa Monica and La Cienega boulevards, he added.

The meetings will be held 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights in the Beverly Hills Police Department’s Emergency Operations Center, 464 N. Rexford Drive. For information call, (310) 285-2133.
