Leaf Blowers

Re “Blowing Away an L.A. Law,” editorial, April 8:

State Sen. Richard Polanco’s bill to develop quiet leaf blowers is only half right. Quiet is one thing, but leaves are still being blown. Let’s put the hose in the other end and vacuum the darn things up.
