RemedyTemp Inc.: The San Juan Capistrano temporary personnel company said net income for the second fiscal quarter rose 50% to $3 million, or 32 cents a share, from $2 million, or 23 cents a share, for the same period last year. Revenue for the second quarter ended March 29 increased 31% to $109.6 million from $83.6 million. For the first half, net income totaled $6.5 million, or 70 cents a share, 41% higher than the $4.6 million, or 51 cents a share, recorded for the same period of fiscal 1997. Revenue grew 31% to $220.8 million from $168.2 million.
