A Modern Marlborough Girl

Share

I have attended Marlborough School since I was 12 years old and will graduate next year (“The Marlborough Girls,” by Debra J. Hotaling, So SoCal, June 21). During my years as a Marlborough Girl, I have grown, it is hoped, into a mature and intellectual woman, as have my classmates.

Although the article accurately details our love for our alumnae and their histories, it gives the impression that Marlborough Girls are stuck in the past and that their idea of an intellectual pursuit is a shopping excursion.

Not so. The Marlborough Girls of today are thoroughly modern women.
