Fish Bowl

Share

It can be risky to dine by candlelight outdoors. One light breeze and you’re in the dark. But setting the candles afloat in a glass bowl will protect your light while turning it into a charming summertime centerpiece. I found these floating fish candles at Pier One Imports and used seashells I had on hand to decorate the bottom of the bowl.

You will need:

6 to 8 seashells in assorted sizes

Glass bowl

Water

Fish candle

Matches, preferably long fireplace matches

Place seashells in bottom of bowl. Fill halfway to top with water. Holding candle by wick, carefully set it in water so that wick stays dry. Light with match.
