Eagle Scouts Sought for First Reunion

The Boy Scouts of America is seeking Orange County Eagle Scouts dating back 66 years.

Former CIA Director and Eagle Scout Robert M. Gates will lead a gathering of Scouts on Dec. 1 at Tinseltown Studios in Anaheim. Gates was CIA director during the Bush administration.

Only about 2% of all Boys Scouts ever attain the organization’s highest rank. In Orange County, 404 Eagle badges were awarded last year, said spokeswoman Veronica Cahill.
