From Times Wire Reports

A wealthy Houston man was acquitted of charges he had his brother kill his wife after she got $1.6 million when she filed for divorce. “I can’t get much happier than I feel right now,” said Bob Angleton. Harris County Assistant Dist. Atty. Lyn McClellan said he still believes Angleton, 46, is as guilty as his brother, Roger. Roger Angleton killed himself in February, leaving notes saying he killed Doris McGown Angleton, 46, and that his brother was not involved. She was shot 13 times when she returned home from her twin daughters’ softball game in April 1997.
