Blond on Blond

I resent Hilary de Vries’ description of Drew Barrymore’s hair as being “dirty blond”--unless it truly is dirty (“The Next New Drew,” July 19). As a lifelong blond, I’ve had my hair light, medium and dark blond--but never dirty.
