Record vs. Power--4-0

Update--The Bullfrogs appear to be in the driver’s seat as the final three rounds of the single-elimination Major League Roller Hockey playoffs continue. All three rounds will be held at the Pond. The Power advanced with a 12-4 wild-card victory last Sunday over the New York Riot. The Bullfrogs beat the Power four times during the regular season, outscoring the defending league champions, 86-18. Dan Scardino leads the Power with 25 goals (seven on power plays) and 19 assists. Mark Woolf, the Bullfrogs’ leading scorer (33 goals, 52 assists), has left to play for a Scottish ice hockey team. He will be replaced by defenseman Doug McCarthy, the Canadian national in-line coach who played for the Bullfrogs last season when they won the title in the defunct Roller Hockey International. Tonight’s winner faces the British Division champion Brighton Tigers on Tuesday. The 10-game British Division began play in mid-July.
