Looking Glass

Share

Spruce up your image with hand-forged iron table mirrors from Stone County Ironworks.

The mirrors, while practical and functional, have an artistic element that works well with nearly any decorating style. The Queensbury is simple in style and line; the Sassafras mirror brings a sense of nature into the room with its branch and leaf adornments.

Stone County Ironworks, based in Mountain View, Ark., uses the time-honored tradition of blacksmithing to make its pieces, which are created by the company’s president and founder, David Mathews.

On the Corner

Uneventful corners can be turned into colorful display areas with stylish corner cabinets from Robern.

In a living room or den, the cabinets can be used to display collectibles or objets d’art; in the kitchen or dining room, glassware and china.

The modular F Series cabinets, 8 inches deep and 20 inches wide, come in seven vibrant colors--cobalt blue, black, red, silver, turquoise, green and gold. They have anodized aluminum framed doors, and the finish is a satin grain matte.

Four glass inserts are available: clear, a double-sided mirror, sandblast and Industrex.

The glass shelves are fully adjustable, and the back panel is mirrored. Lighting is also an option that can be added to the cabinets (start at $725) by Robern, which is a subsidiary of the Kohler Co.

Other features on the 15-amp, 3.2 horsepower saw, include a dust bag and easy to read cash and machined miter scales.
