From Times Wire Reports

Troops loyal to President Laurent Kabila enforced a fourth night of curfew in the capital of Congo. Much of Kinshasa spent the night in darkness once again, despite a report that Zimbabwean troops allied to Kabila assumed control of the giant Inga dam after a safe-conduct deal with rebels holding it. Earlier, thousands of men, women and children streamed away from an eastern suburb of Kinshasa as loyalist soldiers hunted rebel infiltrators. The boom of explosions rumbled across Kinshasa from the sprawling suburb of Kimbanseke, sending residents fleeing from their homes.
