Home buyers who want to purchase a single-family home, townhouse or condominium in the city can apply for loans from the city for up to 20% of the purchase price. The maximum loan is $30,000. To be eligible, buyers cannot purchase a home priced at more than $170,360 and cannot have owned a home within the last three years.
