SafeGuard Replaces Resigned Financial Officer

SafeGuard Health Enterprises Inc. said it named Robert J. Pommersheim as temporary chief financial officer, replacing Thomas C. Tekulve, who has resigned.
The Aliso Viejo company, which markets health-care and life insurance plans, said Pommersheim, who is 50, has served as director of its East Coast businesses. He previously worked as chief financial officer for Cigna Corp.’s dental health division.
Tekulve, 47, who has served as SafeGuard’s chief financial officer for 3 1/2 years, said he resigned to pursue other interests.
