Bombing Trial Gets Conditional OK

Libya’s parliament gave its conditional approval for the trial in a third, neutral country of two suspects in the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, but said some obstacles must still be overcome before the men are handed over. Its statement made no mention of when Libya would hand over the men.
