Deformity the Rule With Breast Implants

Share

Comment: Jane Allen’s article is inadequate, not mentioning deformity. Those “dream figures” are good for seven to nine years, max, and then ruptured implants must be replaced. It’s not simple because silicone-containing scar tissue must be scraped off ribs. Having had a 130 cc (tiny!) gel implant after cancer for me meant losing half my pectoral muscle--which was quite nice considering I had no choice in losing the breast.

Deformity is not an exception but the rule, even with those who have implants only for augmentation. Look at the Web site photos!
