5 New Vice Presidents Elected at Vitesse

The board of directors for Vitesse Semiconductor Corp. in Camarillo has elected five new vice presidents.

The company named Yatin Mody as vice president and controller; Jim McDonald as vice president at the Dallas Design Center; Roy Carew as vice president for assembly and testing; Pat Jenkins as vice president at the Colorado Springs Wafer Fabrication facility; and Mike Yeager as vice president at the Colorado Springs Design Center.

Board members said the new vice presidents will allow Vitesse to meet growing customer demands as the company expands.

Mody began his career at Vitesse in 1992 as manager of cost accounting and budgets, and he was promoted to controller in 1993. McDonald started his career at Vitesse in 1985 as a member of the technical staff.

Jenkins joined Vitesse in 1997 with responsibility for the process engineering organization at the Pierre Lamond Wafer Fabrication facility in Colorado Springs. Carew has been at Vitesse for more than 11 years in various managerial positions in test engineering, most recently as director of assembly and testing.

Yeager has 17 years experience in digital and memory design as well as technical management, most recently at Ramtron International Corp. as vice president of Ferro-Electric RAM design.
