Hospice Tree of Life Donations Near Goal
The 1998 Camarillo Hospice Tree of Life campaign has so far raised $50,000 for Ventura County residents with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
By Jan. 8, organizers hope that $5,000 more will be raised to meet the goal of $55,000. Donations for the tree, given in memory of a loved one, will continue to be accepted until Jan. 8. The tree was lighted at Constitution Park in Camarillo on Dec. 4 and will continue to shine until after the new year.
