O.C. EARNINGS

ICU Medical Inc.: The San Clemente maker of medical connectors said net income for the fourth quarter climbed 79% to $1.6 million, or 21 cents a share, from $917,000, or 11 cents a share, a year ago. Sales rose 34% to a record $8.7 million from $6.5 million. Net income for 1997 increased 21% to $5.7 million, or 71 cents a share, from $4.7 million, or 54 cents a share, for 1996. Sales were up 24% to $30.4 million from $24.6 million.
