Align-Rite’s Net Income Jumps 19%, Revenues 24%

Align-Rite International Inc. posted a 19% jump in its third-quarter net income on a 24% increase in revenues.

In the period ending Dec. 31, Align-Rite’s net income was $1.48 million, compared with $1.25 million a year earlier, and its revenues in the latest quarter climbed to $11.7 million, up from $9.4 million.

For its nine-month period, the company’s net income rose 12% to $4.4 million, compared with a profit of $3.9 million in the same period a year earlier, and its revenues increased 18% to $33.7 million, up from $28.6 million.

The Burbank-based company is a maker of photo masks, which are glass plates used by semiconductor makers during the fabrication of integrated circuits.
