ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

ObjectShare Inc.: The Irvine company, formerly ParcPlace-Digitalk Inc., reported a net loss of $417,000, or 3 cents a share, for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, compared with a net loss of $6.9 million, or 59 cents a share, for the same period in 1996. Revenue declined 40% to $4.9 million from $8.1 million. The company attributed the smaller loss to operational and administrative restructuring. The net loss for the nine-month period was $7.9 million, or 66 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $17.6 million, or $1.50 a share. Revenue declined 51% to $14.8 million from $30.1 million.
