Day Runner Acquisition

Office supplies company Day Runner Inc. said it has acquired Timeposters Inc. for about $2.5 million in cash. Based in Toronto, Timeposters is a privately held developer, manufacturer and marketer of planning and presentation products, including flexible planners, planning boards, other wall boards and easels.

In addition to the cash purchase price, Day Runner said it may make contingent payments over the next two years, based on Timeposters’ operating performance during that period. Timeposters will operate as a subsidiary of Irvine-based Day Runner, with Timeposters’ current management and employees staying in place.
