Sunstone Completes Acquisition
SAN CLEMENTE —
Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc. said it has completed its acquisition of the Carson Hilton Inn in Carson for $12.2 million.
Sunstone, a real estate investment trust, purchased the 221-room Hilton Inn from KPOD Ltd, PBA Partners and KRAD Associates. The hotel had a reported occupancy rate of 56.6% and an average daily room rate of $60 for 1997.
