Share

The second of five community workshops on the housing portion of the Los Angeles General Plan will take place Saturday at the Canoga Park Senior Citizen Center.

Adopted from the 1989-1991 General Plan, the draft housing plan analyzes current and future housing needs for all economic segments of the community, sets goals and establishes policies. It also outlines a five-year schedule for local government to achieve the plan’s objectives.

Such issues as overcrowding and special housing needs for large families, the elderly and the handicapped are also covered.
