Using light and exercises, Schneider claims he overcame blindness as a teenager and now sees well enough to maintain a driver’s license.

The founder of the Center for Self-Healing in San Francisco, he has designed a program that should alleviate eye strain and enhance the vision of those who faithfully follow it. His program, which is mainly aimed at relaxing the optic nerve, is packaged with an eye exercise chart and stiff black paper needed for some of his workouts. His personal success story, and the methods behind his program, are offered on half of the first cassette.

Schneider explains his exercises in an easy and open manner, as if he were speaking to an old friend over the telephone. Unfortunately, he sighs often and is so sedate that he often sounds depressed. As this is hardly stimulating material, it would have been much enhanced by a livelier narrator or a little music between exercises. One would probably do better with a hard copy of his program, if one were available.
