ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

RemedyTemp Inc.: The San Juan Capistrano personnel company posted net income of $3.5 million, or 38 cents a share, for the first quarter of fiscal 1998, 35% higher than $2.6 million, or 28 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 28 increased 31% to $111.1 million from $84.6 million.
