Apria Healthcare Group Inc. said it is actively considering Transworld HealthCare Inc.’s revised bid of $1.43 billion, along with proposals from other parties, for the home health care company.

The announcement came after Transworld, which is bidding together with its major shareholder Hyperion Partners II LP, said that Apria hasn’t responded to the bid.

Apria said it received the proposal Jan. 14 and asked its financial advisor Goldman, Sachs & Co. to get more details on the offer so it can be presented at Apria’s next board meeting later this month.
