Appreciation Day for Conejo Schools Staff
Custodians, librarians, office managers, bus drivers and all other nonteaching personnel are invited to the Conejo Valley school district’s eighth annual classified employee appreciation day Monday.
As teachers in the Conejo Valley Unified School District take a staff development day, the district’s 730 classified workers will enjoy refreshments and workshops at Newbury Park High School from 8 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. They will return to work after the seminars.
The day’s events will include a variety of workshops on stress, crime prevention, helping children be successful, tennis, Internet access and interior decorating.
“This is a day to appreciate all of our classified staff,” said Jody Dunlap, assistant superintendent of personnel.
