NABLUS, West Bank —
Palestinian police raided a hide-out belonging to the militant Islamic group Hamas on Thursday, seizing timers for bombs and a submachine gun, a Palestinian security official said.
Two people were arrested during the raid in the West Bank city of Nablus, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Another Palestinian official confirmed the arrests and said information obtained by the Israelis earlier this week helped locate the hide-out.
